Life In The Stirrups

These are the shenanigans that take place when Hector puts the boys to bed and I'm in class. LOL!

He has the horse done and is working on the sheep now. They are turning out so cute!!! I swear that cheapo projector we bought off of Craigslist is paying for itself. :)

I wanted to post about this on its own since it is a pretty big milestone!  We are officially saying Torin is walking.  For the past week or so, he has been taking a few steps if prompted.  Meaning if we would sit down a few feet away from each other he could mostly manage to get between the two of us.  Or if he was hanging on to a table he could make it a few steps.  Yesterday he even managed to go from sitting down to standing up to taking steps.  Woo hoo!  So exciting!  Of course right now he still gets so excited with himself that after a few steps he ends up falling/sitting back down but in our minds he is there and only a matter of time before he is EVERYWHERE!!!

Of course with that comes more injuries and he had his first little busted lip yesterday from falling on the tile but that only slowed him down long enough to take a couple of sucks off of an ice cube and he was off and moving again! 

Hector sent this to my phone (from his) earlier today. This is what happens when I leave the boys at home while I'm at work. :P
